Creating Your SAP Account Part 3

Before you can continue this process ensure you have completed Part 2 of this guide.

Part 3 – Activating Your User Profile, SAP Support Account, & LBN Account

After completing part 2 of this guide, up-to 24 hours later, you will receive three emails:

  1. “Notication” from notification@sapnetworkmail.com
  2. “no.reply.provisioning” from no.reply.provisioning@sap.com
  3. “SUSER_BATCH” from do.not.reply@sap.com

 1) Open the email “Notification”:

 

 2) Click the link, “Click here to activate your account”:

 

 

Activate your account by entering your First and Last name and creating a password you will remember:

Remember the password MUST be;

              a. Eight characters.
              b. Use one uppercase letter.
              c. Use at least one number.
              d. Use at least one symbol – example symbols: !@#$%^&*()

 

3) Click the blue “Save” button to continue:

 

 

4) You should see “Account Successfully Activated,” click the blue button to “Continue”:

 

 

You are taken to your SAP profile. Filling out this information is optional. 

 

Registering your S-User ID for use with SAP Support

1) Open the email “SUSER_BATCH” from do.not.reply@sap.com:

 

2) Save your S-user ID somewhere safe, it starts with an S. You will need this number if you ever require support directly from SAP.

3) Once you have your S-user ID saved, click the link in the email:

 

 

4) Activate your SAP support account by entering your First and Last name and creating a password you will remember:

Remember the password MUST be;

              a. Eight characters.
              b. Use one uppercase letter.
              c. Use at least one number.
              d. Use at least one symbol – example symbols: !@#$%^&*()

Note: You can use the same password you used in the previous step.

5) Click the blue “Save” button to continue:

 

6) You should see “Account Successfully Activated,” click the blue button to “Continue”: 

 

 

7) Acknowledge the terms and conditions by clicking the check box. Click the blue button” Accept” to continue: 

 

8) You are taken to the SAP Support portal. Click the link in the header “My Support”:

Logging in & Setting Up Your Business Profile in Logistics Business Network

1) Open the email, “no.reply.provisioning” from no.reply.provisioning@sap.com:

 

 

2) Click the first link in the email, “URL for initial user:_____”:

 

 

The first time you open Logistics Business Network, you will receive a warning to complete your business profile.

3) Before you can start using Logistics Business Network, you need to complete your business profile. Click the blue button “Open Manage Business Profile App”:

 

 

4) On the page that opens, in the top right corner, click the blue “Edit” button:

 

 

5) Fill out your basic company information, verify  your “Company Name” is correct. If your company has a website, enter the URL in the “Website:” field.

You are required to upload a company logo. The image must be one of the following file types, .png, .jpg, .svg and must be less than 2 mb. Click “Browse” and navigate to and open your logo:

 

 

6) Under the header “Contact Details,” you’ll notice your company contact information is blank. To enter your company contact information start by clicking “Add” to the right side of your screen:

 

 

7) On the page that opens enter your companies contact information, the following fields are required;

    • Address Line 1
    • City
    • Zip Code
    • State
    • Country/Region
    • Phone Number
    • Email

8) Once you have entered the required information click the blue button “Add” in the bottom right corner of the page:

 

 

9) Under the header “Business Data,” select the check box for “North America” under “Geographical Coverage” then click the blue button “Save” in the lower right corner of the page:

Note: The rest of the fields under “Business Data,” are optional.

 

 

10) After you have saved your Business Profile, return to the Logistics Business Management home page, click the “Back Button” in the top left corner of the page, to the left of the SAP logo:

 

Accepting Your Invitation to Work with Material Transport

The final step before you can start using Logistics Business Network with Material Transport is accepting their invitation.

1) From the Logistics Business Network home page, you should see a tile with the title “Manage Invitations” and a number 1. Click the “Manage Invitations” tile:

 

 

2) You should see an invitation from Material Transport. Click the green “Accept” button to accept the invitation:

 

 

3) After clicking the “Accept” button, you will see a notification appear, “Invitation Accepted”:

 

 

You are now ready to start using Logistics Business Network with Material Transport! 

4) Click the “Back Button” in the top left of the page next to the SAP logo to return to the Logistics Business Network home page: 

 

 

It is highly recommended you bookmark your Logistics Business Network home page.

1) At the top right, tap More followed by Bookmarks.
         a. If your address bar is at the bottom, swipe up on the address bar then tap the star .

2) Find and tap the bookmark for Logistics Business Network.
